📍 Where is Lago di Sorapis?
Lago di Sorapis is located in the Veneto region, in the province of Belluno, within the Dolomiti d’Ampezzo Natural Park. It lies at 1,925 meters above sea level, just a short drive from Cortina d’Ampezzo.
But don’t expect to drive up to it — Sorapis is only reachable by foot.

The most common route starts from the Passo Tre Croci parking area (between Cortina and Misurina), following trail 215.

• Hiking time: 2–2.5 hours one way
• Difficulty: Moderate – narrow paths, rocks, chains in some sections
• Altitude gain: ~400 meters
There are no cable cars, buses, or shortcuts — just mountain legs and some grit.

Lago di Sorapis is fed by glacial runoff from the Sorapis group, specifically from the Torrente Sorapis.
